From driftwood tea

Silver Needles are renowned for being the finest, and sweetest, of all white teas. Carefully harvested at dawn, as soon as the first spring buds appear, good Silver Needles leaves should be pale, plump and covered in soft white down. Once brewed quality Silver Needle teas produce a light, pale liquor, that’s refreshing to drink and bursting with soft fruity flavours.

Key flavours – sweet fresh fruits with hints of subtle hints of meadow grass.

This is the second tea I’ve tried from driftwood and I love it. I’d describe it as sweet, fruity, slightly grassy and fresh – which is pretty much how they describe it – but I imagine this is how good white teas should taste. It’s certainly a far cry from the Twinings White Tea bags I first tried which I wasn’t a huge fan of.

In emails I’ve sent to James who owns driftwood tea he says this is their best selling tea. I can certainly see why!
