This is a nice soothing blend and perfect for night time or when I need a calm moment. I love chamomile blends and this is another one that I would be happy to reorder. The taste is very soothing and peppermint is the first thing I taste, followed closely by the chamomile. I actually like that it is the peppermint that hits me first, that is a change over most night time blends where I get hit with the chamomile first and everythign else is in the background.

This also resteeps very well. I left my resteep sitting on the counter for the next day and it tasted just as good as the first steep.

My last tea before bed, just after something to leave a sweet taste in my mouth and ideally something to bring a wave of calm. Though I’m not a huge fan of chamomile I still found this blend interesting, after all I can’t judge what I haven’t tasted.

So in raw form it smells herbal and not much else, not appealing but not too bad. Once steeped it’s mildly minty and sweet, the chamomile is strong and honey like. Nicer than it’s raw scent anyway.

Well it’s not that bad actually, the mint is light and blends well with the chamomile, only a slight tartness to it but it vanishes pretty quickly. The chamomile is very sweet, like a mild honey. A little creamy too.

I like it, I’m happy the mint does not dominate though it does linger nicely in the after taste. The main attraction is the sweetness of it, and it’s lightness. The first sip made my husband yawn so it’s can’t be bad! I feel calm I suppose, relaxed, though it’s hard to scale.

Worth the gamble, happy to keep this on the shelf and see how it goes.

I was looking forward to this tea. Thus far, all the chamomile teas I have tried had citrus in them. I have found that is not something I often want in a tea that is meant to help relax me before bed. This one has peppermint in it. I thought a chamomile-mint tea would be perfect. Sadly, I am not tasting much, if any, peppermint. I am thinking of possibly adding peppermint to this one tomorrow to see if I enjoy a mint flavored chamomile.

chamomile and mint is such a great combination. I have one that is minty but also has citrus in it, and all three flavors combine well. I can understand not wanting citrus at night, though.

I’ll have to try all three. I am still very much in the hunt of a chamomile tea that would have a permanent spot in my cupboard. That likely won’t happen for quite some time though. So many variations of tea to try!
