This tisane is BEAUTIFUL. Have you ever had those gummy candies that are shaped like oranges? This is EXACTLY what this tea reminds me of! I’m sipping on my second cup of it now. (Well soon to be second cup as soon as it cools!) This is a tasty tisane that titillates your taste buds. (See what I did there?! :P) The orange flavor really POPS and a slight sour-y (good sour not bad!) sweet taste pops in your mouth and makes for a fantastic drink. Definitely re-order worthy for me!

Canadian Travelling Tea Box! (CTTB??) lol

This is one of the first teas i pulled from the teabox since i generally don’t mind hibiscus and i DO love orange. Verdict on this one? REALLY tart. I’m not sure how much of that is the assortment of pieces i got in my teaspoon but i would recommend NOT steeping this for 4 mins – i steeped mind for 3 and it’s very tart. I’m thinking a 2 mins steep of this would likely be the sweet spot for me. Overall, this isn’t a bad tea but there are other orange tisanes/herbals out there that i would prefer.

Thanks go to wheezybee for sending this to me during our swap. She was great about sending me a variety of citrus teas to try out while I was on my hunt for a citrus tea that I like.

This is probably the best blood orange tea that I have tried so far, even if this one just isn’t for me. The blood orange flavor stands out immediately and is slightly sweet and slightly tart. You can taste the hibiscus, but the flavor doesn’t overwhelm the tea as it tends to do with many blends. I think this makes a nice iced herbal tea, but didn’t care for it hot or sweetened.

This was a pain in the rear end to clean out of my ingenuiTEA, for some reason it got really stuck in the mesh.

Got this in a swap with Starfevre Thanks!

Ok, I have to say that smelling this brings back a drink I have long forgotten about….TANG! It smells just like tang with the citrus orange smell….mmmmmm

In taste it reminds me slightly of the seven berry sangria in that it’s bold and in your face. Nothing subtle here. It’s a pleasant citrus taste though. Still think I’m drinking tang …

Wow! Tart! Good! I think I would like this iced, blended with a nice strong green tea. As it cooled the flavor became fuller.

On first smell of this brewed tea, it smells exactly like sweet orange cream by Kally tea, which I reviewed yesterday, so I was a bit skeptical. It smelled exactly like rockets, the candy.

On first sip it was very strong hibiscus. But after I let it cool it was much better. Still very strong hibiscus but was not too bitter or tart. More like blunted hibiscus. There is a bit of a citrus undertone. I do not get blood orange from this at all which is disappointing because I love blood oranges. Still on my search for an authentic tasting blood orange tea.

I am going to try to steep for less time next time and see what happens.

Overall makes a good tea, just not what I was expecting.

One of the teas I made earlier decided to fuse with the mesh filter of my teapot, so while I scrub away at that with a toothbrush I wanted something to savor. This definitely fit the bill.

While I would usually give something this chunky room to expand (stupid tiny particles!) I had to use my much smaller pinch mesh ball. Fortunately, the compression doesn’t seem to have affected it, as the flavor is rich and rather succulent.

It might have been the grapefruit I had earlier, but I am loving the fresh taste of this tea! Sweet with a twist of gentle tartness, I can definitely pick out the citrus and the hibiscus, with the lightest note of the cranberry.

As I continue stabbing away at the mesh of my filter, this is a nice calm-me-down… because otherwise I might start trying to zap these things with a lighter! But, mmm… sweet. See? It’s working.

Now this is really quite good, especially for being a tea with hibiscus in it. The orange flavour comes through clearly and it is only the smallest bit tart, easily taken care of by a bit of sugar or honey if you like that (which I do). I’ve liked quite a few of the teas I’ve gotten in this most recent Della Terra order. A good start to a relationship with this company, which seems to get good reviews all around.

Back to the tea, this is the best blood orange tea I’ve tried so far, much better than my previous try of the Adagio tea, though I’ve still got an entire 2 oz of that left. If I am in the mood for orange tea the next time I’m ordering, this will definitely be on my list.
