I agree with Emilie here. This could be so much more than it steeps up to be. It is so so pretty, smells amazing, and has so many pretty elements in it and is fun to look at – like potpourri! Once steeped I get a lot of Hibiscus flavors – its tart – not too tart to drink though so that is a good thing.
I get the citrus which is nice.
Cinnamon, which is not over done so its very nice – at least it is not covering up the other flavors.
Not sure that the green tea is really contributing any actual flavor here.
The vanilla is too subtle I fear.
Even the black base gets a little covered up but that is okay it does give some depth to the mouthfeel.
I do feel this one could go back to the blending room and be tweaked a little – its close – really close – but just not quite there for me yet.

We are working on this blend. Perhaps even a renaming!

I can’t recall who I received this samples from…maybe Azzrian I’m sorry i forgot but i totally appreciate it!!

I’m going to have to go with the others on this one. The scent of the tea is amaaaazing. However, after steeping it, I am underwhelmed. The cinnamon flavour goes away….and it’s a very blah apple type flavour. Not one I’d opt for unless the blend gets tweaked. The grandma’s pumpkin tea i had earlier tonight was much better.

Azzrian

Could have been me, I did have a sample of that at one time.

This is one of those teas that’s fun to look at it. There are all kinds of little spices and bits of fruit. It almost looks more like food than tea! Steeped, it creates this pretty amber color.

I’m mostly getting tart, apple like flavors. Every now and then cinnamon pops up. I was really expecting a lot more spices for something like this :( Maybe I’ve just burnt out my taste buds from really strong teas. I’ll try cold brewing

Thank you for the review and input. We are currently working on getting a less tart, naturally sweeter blend!

T&C Box 10/18

This one smells like the holidays for sure! Orange, cinnamon, cranberry, and apple are all very present in the dry blend. Brewed it smells mostly like cinnamon and oranges.

The taste of this is much more subtle than it smells. I taste mostly cinnamon and black tea with a tart fruit undertone. I don’t notice much of the apple or green tea at all, unfortunately. That said what I do taste is well-balanced. I don’t know that this is the holiday tea for me, but it is pretty tasty!

T&C TTB

Smells like Christmas but tastes like Thanksgiving.

What I mean is that it smells fresh and crisp which makes me think of winter. The blend has the same berry and cinnamon aroma that I associate with the holidays…possibly because stores always set out the cinnamon pine cones and dried fruit garland near their entrances. Flavor wise, the cranberry and cinnamon are the most distinct. This tastes better with sweetener but it still feels like it’s missing something…

Tea & Cards TTB

This smelled delightful in the bag…all christmas-y spice notes and happy things. It’s a shame it didn’t brew up anything like that, though.

My first impression post-steep is that it tastes like potpourri smells. I mean, it SHOULD be delicious, but instead my tastebuds feel like they took a wrong turn into a craft shop…there’s a nice background black tea note that’s pleasant and some cloves or other baking-sort-of-spice that’s tasty, but overall it’s not a particularly memorable tea.

Solidly meh, this one. Not painful to drink, but I wouldn’t seek it out in the future.
