From Dear Camellia

From the Alada Valley in the highlands of Darjeeling, drawing from the lush scenery that surrounds the estate, this high-standing variety holds a strong reception from those new or veteran to white tea. The leaf is a paling green, curled up when dry but flowers when in water unleashing its aroma.

TASTE:

A very clean, subtle taste with natural tones of wood and grass, and a sweet floral tint.

INGREDIENTS:

Organic Alada Valley white tea

PREPARATION:
White Tea should be prepared with 3g per 200ml of water at 80-90C for about 3 minutes. Can be re-steeped an additional 2-3 times. Thereafter, new tea should be added.

So… I love white tea. Especially the straight whites that taste like nectarine stones, with a hint of honey.

Yes, this is that kind of tea. Oh my goodness, yes!

While it isn’t as full-bodied as some of the higher-end whites I’ve had, it was darn good. I’ll savor the rest of what I was sent, and could happily keep this in my tea cupboard if I could get my hands on more easily. (I can’t, it came from Australia as a sample so that I’d review it).

Look for it soon on my IG account! http://instagram.com/teatravelninja.com/

Ha! Sil, I’ll happily give you the rest of what I have. I’m not pulling what I want out of this one, or the Candy Bar tea. Perhaps you can work your magic.

Sil

i hear ya on that. Nice to try new things at least though. Makes me want to go back to austrlia/NZ just for the sake of the tea haha
