I have a Mental Health Crisis training all day over Zoom. It’s like 12 hours or so. So i’ve been drinking lots of tea. This tea has a nice tart citrus flavor although I don’t think I would be able to identify it as peach. It definitely is quite citrusy and specifically I taste a lot of lemon. It’s tangy and enjoyable but I am bummed because I love peach teas. I’ve also been craving peach tea for the past few days. Persimmon is listed in the ingredients but I have no clue what that tastes like. So I can’t say if that is coming through or not.

I had a cup of this yesterday! It doesn’t really work for me, but I’m trying to finish my bag :P

Honestly, at first read I thought you meant you had a mental health crisis because of all day Zoom training and I was going to say, “Boy, I feel you!” Not a fan of Zoom. Glad you had tea by your side.

LuckyMe

@ashmanra That’s how I read it too :-D

Lexie Aleah

haha no I just got my certification from doing the training.

That’s definitely a possibility though if we don’t get back to having on campus classes sometime soon.

For some reason DavidsTea peach teas often don’t work for me. This one is a little peachy, but it has a floral element that is at least as strong, plus an artificial taste that I don’t enjoy. I found the flavor less off-putting the second time I tried it. I certainly wouldn’t order this again or recommend it since there are so many better peach teas out there. I drank it cold. The artificial/floral parts don’t really go away, but I guess I’m used to them.

(DavidsTea 60)

This is a sample from the ever-generous Roswell Strange – and oddly, a tea that I may have only tried once previously, and hot. Made up a pitcher of it iced today, and it’s quite nice – a somewhat tart/tangy peach flavour. I’ll note that the tartness didn’t come out right away, so a long infusion is probably best here (I hot brew and then pour over ice and let the tea infuse forever in the jug infuser).

A little annoyed that I like this as much as I do, to be honest… However, my husband is less a fan of peach so it’s fine. I think I missed my chance to get more, anyhow.

I got some of this as a gift and haven’t opened it yet but if I don’t love it I’d be happy to send you some in a swap if you’re in the U.S.

Thank you for the offer, but sadly I am in Canada! I’m hoping it might make a comeback – but if not, I’m betting they’ll bring out more peach teas in the future.

Soooo I know I worked so hard to sip this tea down but then I saw we had extra at work still and it’s just such an incredibly distinct and unique peach flavour that I couldn’t resist bringing more home again. I’m just not sure well else I can find a punchy peach like this with the dewy floral and honeyed notes of persimmon. Persimmon teas are already incredibly rare…

Friendly reminder that I do not numerically rate DAVIDsTEA blends as I’m currently employed there and it would be an obvious conflict of interest. Any blends you see with numerical ratings were rated prior to my employment there. These reviews are a reflection of my personal thoughts and feelings regarding the teas, and not the company’s.

All I can say is thank goodness my work does not have anything to do with teas. The situation is bad enough as is.
