White Stroke Matcha Bowl from DAVIDsTEA

White Stroke Matcha Bowl

Right away I really loved the design of the bowl, pattern wise. I was skeptical about the bowl being bigger than my other matcha bowls as well as the DavidsTea matcha bowl from the starter kit. This made it harder to jade matcha.

A bigger bowl proved to be a bit of a problem with whisking the matcha. Then there’s the rough texture which initially I thought was neat but upon whisking my matcha with the chasen in it, it was like nails on a chalkboard. It was absolutely displeasing to hear and feel the chasen scratching the rough interior of the bowl. This made me hesitant on whisking and totally took away what would have been my overall enjoyment of preparing matcha.

Now using this bowl for snacks and such.
