How it tastes
Sweet, creamy custard with warming notes of cinnamon and clove: just like a rich and lightly spiced eggnog

Frightful weather ahead? Warm up with this delightfully creamy green tea. With festive notes of white chocolate, cinnamon, clove and custard, it’s the perfect way to add a touch of cozy to your day. Serve it straight up in a teapot big enough to share or spiked with brandy for a spicy winter warmer. Not cozy enough? Try it as a frothy tea latte.

What makes it great
• It just wouldn’t be the holidays without eggnog! This festive green tea adds a delicious spicy twist to the classic drink.
• We love it as a frothy tea latte with a dash of cinnamon and nutmeg.

Candied pineapple (pineapple, cane sugar, citric acid), Green tea, Black currants, Apple, Cinnamon, White chocolate (sugar, cocoa butter, whole milk powder, skim milk powder, whey powder, lactose, soy lecithin, natural vanilla), Cloves, Stevia extract, Natural flavouring.

This tea really fits the season. It’s your perfect cinnamon, clove, caramel with a hint of fruit and green tea flavors, sipping by the window kind of tea. It’s the definition of wintertime coziness!

Oh, this tea tastes heavenly! Cloves blend nicely with the green tea, fruit and chocolate. Wow, I am impressed and will definitely have to buy some more!

*Update: Tried it as a latte and it is AMAZING!! I drank it faster than I could make it. That’s how good it was.

Yes! After being let down by all of the other Christmas/holiday teas released so far, I’m so happy to say that I love this one, lol. I’ve always wanted to drink eggnog, because I love the smell of it, but I can’t stomach the idea of drinking raw eggs. This tea solves my eggnog issue. It smells just like eggnog and has such a rich, creamy, sweet, spicy flavor. I adore it and will be hoarding it for sure. This is going to be my go-to dessert tea over the holidays. I love how strong and complex it is.

Like Sleigh Ride, I pretty much have to have this tea at least once each winter. So I made my yearly cup a few nights ago. Very sweet, with a strong white chocolate and nutmeg flavour and a more fruity undertone. It’s eggnog adjacent. Eggnog on drugs, in a way.

I liked it, but I think I’m good again until next year now.

Friendly reminder that I do not numerically rate DAVIDsTEA blends as I’m currently employed there and it would be an obvious conflict of interest. Any blends you see with numerical ratings were rated prior to my employment there. These reviews are a reflection of my personal thoughts and feelings regarding the teas, and not the company’s.

Hmm, smelling this it smells really good. Festive even. But tasting it, its quite different. I can taste the spice I was smelling, but it also tastes creamy and somewhat like eggnog. Which I don’t care for. I think it’s safe to say I won’t be buying any more of this one. I’ll finish what I have, but it isn’t for me.

yes this tea is described on their website as eggnog!

Michelle

I actually think I liked the original ‘Eggnog’ tea better than this.

I was so psyched to buy this just based on the description, but then I tried a free sample in the mall, and it’s also not for me :(
