I feel like I’m the only one who barely tastes the peach in this tea. I understand that it’s a black tea and that the peach flavour would not be predominant, but it simply tastes like a very sweet black tea to me. While I taste very little peach, I taste even less lychee. Not a favourite.

Update: After finishing the cup, I did begin to notice the peach flavour a bit more. I’ve adjusted my numerical rating to reflect this. However, I still could not recommend this tea due to its lacklustre flavour.

I really enjoyed this blend over ice this summer. It’s definitely floral, which I’m attributing to the lychee and the white hibiscus. Floral isn’t normally thing, but, since the peach is the dominant flavor on my palate, I don’t mind. It’s certainly one of the stand-out blends from DT this year for me.

An okay tea, is a lot like Buddha’s Blend, so if you don’t like that one probably not for you

So in my head I had convinced myself that this was a really nice iced latte, because of that I wound up making an iced latte yesterday – but it really wasn’t that satisfying at all. I mean, it was drinkable but I thought it was WAY too floral and the white hibiscus almost gave it a soapy taste.

My manager Dani LOVES this tea though, and when she saw I was making it as an iced latte she did the same and she adored it! So, it really does just go to show just how subjective flavour can be and how everyone’s idea of good flavours are different.

I really, really wish I liked this one though…

Friendly reminder that I do not numerically rate DAVIDsTEA blends as I’m currently employed there and it would be an obvious conflict of interest. Any blends you see with numerical ratings were rated prior to my employment there. These reviews are a reflection of my personal thoughts regarding the teas, and not the company’s.

Do you know how long she steeped hers?

Roswell Strange

Four minutes, I do believe.

Everyone is different and that’s okay. If we all liked the same stuff life would be boring as heck.

I’m having this as an iced latte now and it’s actually quite good! For me, it’s better than on its own. Thanks for the suggestion, haha! I’ve been trying to find a good way to enjoy it.

Always happy to help! Even if I don’t personally love a tea, I can definitely share some of the feedback I’ve heard from customers/coworkers who DO like it :)
