This tea is quite yummy! Black teas are my favourite, and peppermint is a fantastic Christmasy flavour that really gets me in the spirit! On its own this tea is fairly good, but I definitely prefer it with some milk or as a tea latte. Currently I’m enjoying it as a tea latte with eggnog, which, if you haven’t tried is incredibly delicious (you don’t need to add any additional sweetner). I haven’t really tasted any other candy cane flavoured teas, but this one will definitely remain a Christmas must-have for me!

Drinkable but meh. It brews up a light murky orangy pink. It has black tea in the mix but you cannot tell when it brews up that there is any black tea in it. I had to add sweetener to it to make it taste like anything which is odd given the amount of candy in it. Once sweetened I can only taste slick feeling peppermint but I expected some black tea flavor too. Sadly disappointed in this cute mix.

DAVDsTEA Advent Calendar 2021 – Day 14

I decided to prepare this one as a latte, because I know from past experience (and just looking at the amount of white chocolate in the leaf) that this will steep up into a super murky and oily cuppa and the thought just grosses me out.

So I steeped the whole mini tin in about 8 ounces of water and then added some frothed milk. To be honest, it was blander than I was expecting? Obviously creamy but just mildly minty with a hint of sweetness. Fine, but mostly hot milk ha ha.

I love love love this one. But, sadly, I’ve sipped it down and have to hope DavidsTea will bring it back this winter. A sweet, lightly minty work tea that never fails to bring a smile to my face.

I taste some mint, and I taste some chocolate. But both flavours seem rather weak to me. The colour of the tea when I steeped it was very pale and greasy and off-putting too. I only had a 5g free sample to try, and I don’t think that I will be buying any of this tea in the future.

I really enjoy the peppermisnt and hint of chocolate. When asked to describe what it tastes like I describe it as that refreshing minty taste you feel on your lips when you use Burt’s Bees Peppermint lip balm, which I happen to like, especially after a big meal (like around the holidays). I know it isn’t for everyone though, so if you aren’t a peppermint fan, steer clear!
