From DAVIDsTEA

Cool, creamy and out of this world – there’s nothing quite like a bowl of ice cream. Even Roman emperor Nero couldn’t resist its frosty deliciousness. Legend has it he used to send runners into the mountains for snow, which was then flavoured with fruits and nuts. Though he had the right idea, it seems he was missing a key ingredient – pistachios. Sweet and salty, pistachio ice cream is just one of those desserts that keep us coming back for more. And with this nutty blend of black tea and crunchy pistachios, you’ll definitely want two scoops.

In some sips this tea tastes pretty good and in other sips it tastes like play-doh. :/ I can’t quite sort how I feel about it. I do get bits of apple in there and the overall pistachioness of it. I’m not thrilled and I’m not appalled.

I was That Kid who ate play-doh, so I’d probably like this, haha.

Dustin

I recall play-doh not tasting so bad when I was a kid, but my tastes have changed a little since then. ;)

True! My favourite breakfast as a child was marmite and smarties on toast! I tried it again a couple of years back, and it is totally gross, as you would expect!

I only liked the homemade playdough, aka flour + salt. I also licked salty rocks. Yuck. But I know of this play-doh flavour you speak of, and I find it not uncommon, especially in flavoured whites. Not particularly appealing.

If you like dessert teas and are a fan of pistachio ice cream, this tea will do the trick! You can use either frothed milk or (as I do) for low carb decadence and truly a post-meal treat… a dollop of whipped cream.

I just realized that after drinking this tea, I am really not a fan of teas with apple/pear. It makes my stomach upset…. :-(
