Honey I’m home

Is there any activity more whole heartedly autumnal than apple picking? Not that we can think of. And when it comes to apples, the Honeycrisp is king. Juicy, sweet and full of flavour, it’s a fall treat we look forward to every year. And this refreshing, fruit-packed tea is just like biting into a fresh Honeycrisp straight off the tree. Whether you drink it straight up or spike it with a splash of bourbon, it’s the perfect way to bring the orchard home. Oh honey!

I sampled this tea in the store today and liked it so much that I bought some! This is a pretty delicious tea. I am constantly on the hunt for greens that I don’t need to add sweetener to, and this fits the bill!

I have tried this hot and cold and I actually like it better hot. The cold brew was really weak and will take a lot of tea to make it taste as good as it does hot…

This tea is absolutely delicious!
When I saw that it was out, I was worried that it would be kind of cidery (I hadn’t read the ingredients at that point). Cider isn’t bad by any means, but I was really hoping this would have a light and refreshing flavour, which it definitely does!
It tastes just like apples, but not in an “apple juice” way. It tastes as though you are biting into the apple itself. It is sweet enough without sweetner, and is amazing both hot and cold. The pear in this tea comes through just enough without being overpowering.

I would watch when making this that you don’t make it too strong though, as it becomes kind of bitter and takes away from the amazing flavour.

This is easily a new favorite of mine, and definitely my favorite from the fall collection! I will have to stock up before the season is over!

The smell of the dry leaves for this is amaaaazing.

I’m having a hard time picking out the green tea flavour in this one. As well, from the smell I thought it would be a bit more like a tart apple flavour vs. sweet apple. It’s definitely very sweet. (And I drink my tea black) I can’t help but be a bit curious what they are using to make this so sweet…

Anyway, still really good. But I think I’m satisfied with the small bag I bought. Not sure if I’ll restock.

This one is coming in the mail for me in a 5g sample. Didn’t realize at the time it was a green tea so idk if I would restock either..I like my fruit teas to be herbal and my green teas on the plainer side.

I thought I would prefer this tea iced, but after trying it it would seem that’s not the case. The flavours don’t seem to blend as well iced. The tartness is more obviously hibiscus and the whole thing just seems a little off. I’m not sure if this would change if you poured the hot tea over ice rather than doing a cold brew, but I’ll finish off what I bought by it hot.

Bought a collector’s tin of this one! I really hope I love it. The first cup was made too weak, so I shall try again!

Dry leaf: Sweet jam and juicy, ripe fruit aromas.

Liqueur: Clear pink with red-orange hues. Smells like ripe pear and green apples.

Flavour: Crisp pear that transform into juicy apples. Nice and sweet with some tartness that pulls the flavors together.
