This combo of mint and a chai-like blend is quite nice. I definitely get the first three ingredients: cardamom, ginger and peppermint. Not really getting the sweetness of the licorice root or fennel, but oh well. Tasty.

Oh, and I used 2 heaping tsps, rather than the 1 1/2 recommended.

I adore this tea. It’s wonderfully minty and spicy, and with the peppermint and ginger I feel like it would be a great digestive tea.

This is a great mint tea, with a little extra because of the cardamom, fennel, and black pepper! Great hot or cold, but not with honey! >_<

Tried this tea for a second time from my DAVIDsTEA advent calendar. I still don’t feel that the mint and spice flavours go well together. I am hardly able to detect any green tea taste.

Hmmm. I’m really disappointed and I never thought this day would come, but I think this is the first cup of DAVIDsTEA that I try and don’t like so much! I’m really not a fan of licorice, and even less of a fan of pepper, so I was a little bit worried to try it out on day #9 of the advent calendar.

I didn’t really get the licorice taste, which was nice – but it did end up tasting like a peppery cup of mint tea :( And it’s a shame because I LOVE mint…so I added a sprinkle of sugar, which made it more bearable, but I don’t really want to make the other cup left in this mini sample tin. So sad :(
