Not a very strong flavor, hints of mint and fruit. Overall wasn’t a fan. 2/5

Someone from work gave me a pretty little box from David’s Tea; most of the samples are herbals or but that’s not a bad thing to mix up into the general routine of heavily caffeinated beverages.

This is the first one I polished off- chosen for the mint and lavender which ended up being more subdued than I anticipated! I kind of wish this fell more on the floral and less fruity end of the spectrum.

Anyways, I like blends like this and while they may be a dime a dozen (and largely unloved on here) I’d contemplate picking this one up again if only because of ease of access.

This is a gorgeous tea – especially for a beautiful spring day or in the summer. It’s fruity and floral in just the right balance. Much as it’s name suggests, it gives you a serene happy state of mind. Peaceful and content with the day. I too found this one in the Christmas advent calendar. It was the one that stood out to most to me after all the ones I already knew. It was a while before I tried it, but it was well worth the wait.

This is a tea I will always keep on hand now. A perfect tea for days of sunshine and green leaves, or just daydreaming of them.

I can’t stand this tea. I think it’s the lavender that turns me off so much.

Back in December I bought the “Your Daily Resolution A Tea a Day” variety pack of about 12 different teas. I had given this to my oldest as a Christmas present to go along with her Japanese tea set. Fast forward to today, that set of teas remained unopened until I took over.

I choose try the Organic Serenity Now in a hot brew (just noticed on the website for DavidsTea that it suggests trying it iced). Dried the aroma reminds me of the lavender field outside my grandma’s house, mixed with apples and spearmint. It brews a lovely rose colour. The aroma brewed is strong on the spearmint mixed with a woodsy scent. Taste wise, it is a mouth watering spearmint flavour that was relaxing while I enjoyed my breakfast and rewatch of Glee (a guilty pleasure that I enjoy).

Resolution with the tea – sip back and relax. I am totally doing that with this tea today!

Pretty, floral lavender and strawberry candy with a hint of herbal spearmint. I appreciate that this is fruity, but not sour.

Had this one iced. I was unsure about this tea, given that this was a tea with floral accents, but it was nice. Not sure I’d always have this one in stock, but I didn’t hate it. The lavender is definitely present, with a hint of mint, but there is a nice fruity taste too. The hibiscus is a tad stronger than I might prefer, but it wasn’t cloying and I felt it worked well with the strawberry taste. Sweet, refreshing and floral – not bad. Not sure how this would be hot, but I’ll give it a try next time it’s cold enough out.

Drinkable without a lot of milk or honey which is always good. But this is way to floral for me to end up buying it. Just got it as a sample. Sort of makes me feel like I am drinking a body spray or perfume.
