Wow, in the last 24 hours I went from 36 to 31 teas in my tea collection. Thank you iced tea pitcher (and using up small samples) for decreasing my collection to a more conservative/manageable size!
My co worker gave me this tea- she said her son gave her a few teas for mother’s day that she didn’t care for, lol. I passed on the black tea due to stomach issues and chose this one. I put the entire amount (probably 1-2 tsp subtracted from 25 grams) in 2L of 185 degree F water for 4 min and put the pitcher in the fridge to cool off over night for “iced” tea.
I can’t say I often eat nectarines or apricots, but I’m definitely detecting apricot: slightly tart and sweet. Overall this tea is different and interesting, but not for me, and just like the last several teas I reviewed, I’m glad to have tried it, but wouldn’t purchase it for myself. This is due to the fact that I’m not super into the flavour (it’s just okay), I prefer my iced teas to be herbal, I’m not super into white tea (if I want caffeine I’ll drink green tea, if not I drink herbal- I don’t need an “inbetween”), and this tea costs $11.50/ 50 grams (or $5.75 per pitcher). I would rather buy some of their newly released summer collection to be honest (although I promised myself that I’m going to get my collection to 25 or so teas before buying anymore…I’m getting close!).
