She’s a peach
If we could, we’d eat peaches and cream every single day. Is there any taste more smile-inducing than perfectly ripe fruit and a dollop of vanilla-scented cream? It’s so fresh, so simple – like a bowl of sunshine. There’s just one problem. You just can’t get perfect peaches all year round. But this spring, we’re satisfying our cravings with this fruit-packed peach and vanilla blend. It’s sweet, refreshing and just a little bit creamy. Isn’t life peachy?

I braved my grumpy baby today because I needed to get out of the house, I was going crazy. It is finally warming up here in Saskatchewan, so I am stir crazy to finally get out and about!
Anyway….this tea…..I thought it was delicious, I didn’t taste any alcohol like others have mentioned. The creamy vanilla was the most prominent note for sure. The peach doesn’t taste quite as natural as I would like, but it is decent.
I put some of this in the fridge to chill for tomorrow, so I will update tomorrow.

I agree with Kittenna that it’s great to have a herbal offering that isn’t mint, chamomile, hibiscus, or licorice!

UPDATE: I don’t like this iced. I think it tastes super articial this way.

Okay, this one is an instant love affair. I love peaches and I adore vanilla. This has both in spades. Hot, the vanilla dominates, but, as the tea cools, the peach notes get a lot stronger and the tea becomes a lot more balanced and spring feeling. This is one I could see myself drinking a lot of! A lot….

Kind of reminds me of Forever Nuts! I find that this tea tastes better once it has cooled off a bit, otherwise you can’t really taste the fruitiness. I’m going to have to try it iced!

A fragrant perfume and a light flavor. It’s almost akin to the feeling when one views the blossoms on a sunny spring day. I had this tea while taking pictures at the golf course yesterday actually. Haha. It really reminded me of Southern Belle, a previous fall tea that David’s used to carry, just without the caffeine. That being said I’d recommend it for an iced tea when the weather warms up even further. Happy tea drinking.

Oolong Owl

Oooh, I did like Southern Belle! I might have to try this!

It’s definitely worth it. :)

This tea is okay at best. I was really excited and picked it up on the day it was released. I made it when I got home and noticed that I smelt a slight metallic/alcohol scent when I opened the bag. Unfortunately scent taste really came through in the aftertaste of the tea.

On the bright side, the metallic taste is subdued with the addition of a little bit of brown sugar. I will continue to drink this tea as a rare treat (I never add sweetener to my tea) until I run out. I will not repurchase as I do not like adding sugar/honey/agave to my tea. If you don’t mind adding in some sweetener this tea is actually quite delicious. The brown sugar gave it a caramel quality which reminded me of peach cobbler with ice-cream.

I’m on my resteep of this! Yay! I tried all 5 teas today like some kind of crazed DT fangirl.
Which I can be. Admittedly.

This one was ok, but I could take it or leave it.

So, the winners are Cool Cucumber and Blue Lagoon.
Also, whales.
I love how blue my mug is, and I love how the snow out front is melting away and that I’m starting to crave cold brewed teas again.

Plunkybug

I liked Peaches and Cream. I def need to give it more steeps to see how much I like, but my first impression is that I want to get another 20-25g (I only got 12g, as it turns out, so not much). I’ll try Blue Lagoon after my Orange Oolong resteep. Pom Tango left me on the fence again. I’m gonna try it with adding some straight tea to it, but not sure which one to use. Cool Cucumber will probably need another month before I feel up to trying, as I really want a nice warm day for it.

While sitting outside Davids, chatting with the lovely Christina, I had a cup of this iced and oh my gawd. It was so good. So, so, so good. I see the comparison to a peach gummies, but ermagerd, I nearly walked back in the store and bought a ton of it. But we have samples, so I’m going to try it hot and coldbrewed before investing in more.

Christina / BooksandTea

My tea box at home is stuffed with all of the samples you gave me. STUFFED. I couldn’t even fit it all in there, considering the large bags you gave of the Silver Buds Yabao and the Milk Oolong from Tealish. It’s gonna take months to get through it all!

Daddyselephant

Bwahahahaha. And we’re already planning your next bag full.

This was another one of the new ones my mom surprised me with yesterday. I tried it for the first time last night. When I smelled the dry tea, I didn’t get the chemical smell which a lot of other people noted. What I did notice however was that this tea is mostly made up of dried fruit pieces and has no form of tea in it. When steeped, my tea turned a light yellow-orange colour and smelled like peach and mildly of vanilla. I really do like peach teas however this one did fall a little flat. The peach is definitely not as strong as it is in other teas like Long Life Oolong but is a nice alternative for people who aren’t crazy about peach. I would recommend trying it for yourself. I will have no problem finishing the bag she bought for me and would also like to try it iced but will be in no rush to re-stock- nor would I be devastated if they chose not to bring it back next year.

This is my second tasting of this tea; I will admit that the first tasting was not as good as I was hoping for. But thankfully I do believe in giving teas a second chance, and I am glad I did. Although the directions say to steep for approximately 4-7 minutes, I found that for my first time trying this tea it was fairly weak, so I decided to up the steep time to closer to 10 minutes. The colour is a pale yellowish-orange, and although transparent, there is a bit of sediment floating around (most likely small pieces of fruit).

There is a very creamy aroma – reminds me of French vanilla ice cream and orange creamsicles… maybe in this case peachsicles? Either way this tea smells amazing!

The initial taste isn’t much; however, I am able to taste the creaminess in the back of my mouth. After the second sip I am able to make out more of the vanilla notes, but not as much peach.

There is a very soft and creamy mouthfeel, leaving my mouth watering and wanting another sip. The creaminess intensifies as the tea cools.

The aftertaste is when I notice most of the flavour of the peach come out. It is very juicy, fruity, with a slight mouthwatering tang.

This tea isn’t very strong, so for those of you who like your tea on the stronger side I would recommend steeping the tea for a few minutes longer then the recommended 4-7minutes. I found that this also helped develop the peach aftertaste. Overall this tea is a lovely fruity tea, perfect for the approaching spring/summer weather. I can see myself drinking this iced and sitting outside during the early evening as the sun goes sown (when the weather gets a bit warmer of course).

Picked up a small amount of this today…about 12-14g of it, and you know, it’s alright.

I’m not getting anything super flavory…I am not getting super peachy or super apple. but that’s ok, actually. I get a little of a juicy peach, and a sort of smooth (perhaps creamy?) note as well. I have heard that this is pretty good as a latte, so I may need to try that.

The only thing I noticed is that my steeper had a hard time straining this one. I’m not sure if it is coincidence or not. I’ll take my steeper apart and give it a super clean in case something got clogged somewhere. But a word to the wise, this one may be a bagged tea kind of tea.

I think I will probably pick up more of this to try (maybe 25g to start?), as I really want to find teas without caffeine that I like, for nights (or after I have had too much caffeine in general), that is tasty hot and cold. I don’t know what this one will be like cold, but I think it is gonna be nice iced or cold brewed.
