From DAVIDsTEA

How it tastes
Fresh, cool minty flavour and aroma

It’s love at first sip with this organic peppermint tea. Said to stimulate passion and creativity, our peppermint is also fair trade, for great taste and good karma. It’s a naturally fresh, cool and comforting herbal tisane. And though it may be totally caffeine-free, that doesn’t mean it won’t awaken your senses.

What makes it great
• Peppermint tea is a classic remedy for an upset tummy.
• The active ingredient in peppermint is menthol – said to be great for soothing the throat.

Ingredients
Organic peppermint leaves from Oregon and Washington State.

This is the most pepperminty of the pepperminty teas by a long shot! I like to sip mint tea when I have an upset/anxious stomach or iced when it’s grossly hot outside.

Great in a mojito – and sometimes I throw an extra tsp of this in to my Read My Lips in the last minute of steeping for an extra minty boost.

Doesn’t seem to gain any bitterness or anything off-putting from oversteeping, despite the short steep time indicated in the directions. I once accidentally left it for about 7 minutes and it made an even better iced tea than expected!

If you’re looking for a really strong, fresh peppermint tea this one definitely is worth checking out.

I got myself a bag of this recently, to kind of stock up for the colder months ahead. I think peppermint is amazing when you don’t feel well – whether it’s an upset stomach, sore throat, cold, headache. It’s good on a cold day, and it’s refreshing on a hot day!
It’s good for making other drinks with as well, and getting creative. My bf and I made hot chocolates the other day, and I steeped some of this in my cup for a few minutes for a peppermint hot chocolate :). We both loved it and we’re definitely making it again next time. And last night I made some straight peppermint ‘tea’ to soothe my stomach, just steeped for a couple minutes and cooled enough to sip. It totally did the trick, and the relief is instant.
This is such a good ‘tea’ to have around, because it can be used so many different ways, and peppermint is just an all around good thing!

Holy mint, Batman! I thought I loved a strong mint, and then I tried this tea. I normally reserve my straight mint teas for when I’m ill, and I’m thinking this one is going to be blended with my Cold 911 to kickstart things when needed. It’s a wee bit too strong for me, but it is better than any bagged version I’ve tried, and is definitely mintalicious. I love how I can feel the mint effects all the way down after I’m done!

I like to blend this with Three Lemon Green as a “feeling under the weather” brew. Cuts through the sinus block, for sure!

The perfect peppermint tea. I think I become more relaxed before even tasting it—just smelling this one in my cup puts me at ease. If you’ve ever had fresh peppermint tea, you know this is pretty darn close to the “real thing.”

Most of my life I convinced myself that I hated peppermint tea. Bagged, yes. THIS? So much better! I find it so refreshing every time, and it’s not overpowering, which I’m always afraid of in peppermint tea. And for an herbal, it has an awakening effect, almost like a “whoooosh” in your face. I need that right now, considering I have 5 hours left of darkness to sit through. It’s also soothing my Wendy’s-coated stomach. I’m so glad I learned to like this, since 50g completely filled my tin.

I spontaneously bought a bag of this due to my love for minty teas – and mmmm, I am so glad I did! Plain peppermint, nice and strong and right up my alley (and it being organic is a nice touch as well). Well done.

This was the 2nd tea I purchased for my mom for her birthday. I know she loves peppermint and this tea definitely delivers that! The smell of peppermint seeps out of the bag even when it is sealed…it is so strong! When steeped, it definitely mellows out and the taste is not overpowering either. To me, this tea was really nothing special, just your average peppermint tea! I’m not the biggest fan of peppermint but I’ve had bagged teas just from the grocery store which were equally as good. For that reason I can’t say I would definitely spend the extra money on this again but it was a nice tea. For the taste (and quality of the peppermint) I would give this tea a 75.

I’m a peppermint addict , and this tea just hit the spot, with a semi strong smell, and mild taste I adore it. Highly recommend it
