  • “Second attempt at this one. Still tastes to me like a creamy, chai-ish tea. A little less spicy today and a bit more marshmallow-creamy, but toasted marshmallow it is not. I would really love to...” Read full tasting note

From DAVIDsTEA

Toast master
Everyone loves a camping trip in the fall. Fresh air, beautiful scenery, hungry bears – ah, the great outdoors. Well, okay, we’ll admit it. We’re only in it for the marshmallows. Nothing beats a freshly toasted marshmallow straight from the campfire. But what if you want to satisfy your sweet tooth without going camping? Try this tea. It’s a sweet, toasty black tea blend with cinnamon, brittle and…you guessed it! Mini marshmallows. Now you can enjoy your favourite outdoorsy treat without a hungry bear in sight.

Ingredients: Black tea, marshmallows, brittle pieces, cinnamon, allspice, kukicha green tea.

This one was pretty good. Not an all time favorite, but I might stock up before it goes away. Sweet, not too much cinnamon for my taste, I enjoyed it with a splash of 1/2 and 1/2. All the marshmallows dissolved in the first steeping so I didn’t even bother trying to resteep this tea.

I’m not sure what I expected a toasted marshmallow in tea form to taste like, but this definitely wasn’t it. This tea arrived today, and I couldn’t wait to taste it. Unfortunately the smell when I opened the bag reminded me of a candle instead of a yummy tea. I still gave the tea a shot though but was disappointed by how strong the spices and cinnamon were instead of the sweeter flavor I expected. While the tea tastes better than it smells, the smell was still potent enough to also ruin the drinking experience. I wish I didn’t have a 50g bag full still sitting on my counter because this isn’t a tea I want to try again.

This is just fantastic, fantastic. Now that Teavana/Teaopia doesn’t carry S’Mores anymore, I needed a marshmallow tea and David’s Tea saved my life with this fantastic thing. It’s chocolaty, marshmallowy and a bit sweet. It’s good straight or on a latte. I love it!

As if crafted by the Michelin Man himself, you can taste the soul of a marshmallow in this blend.

A subtle black tea taste, very delicate in nature. A sweet softly flavoured tea with spicy undertones. The cinnamon is most prominent, the cloves give off an eggnog vibe and the ginger is subtly present.

Slightly cloudy due to the melted mini marshmallows.

A treat on any day of the year, but holds a particularly warming quality ideal for the fall season.
