From DAVIDsTEA

Toast master
Everyone loves a camping trip in the fall. Fresh air, beautiful scenery, hungry bears – ah, the great outdoors. Well, okay, we’ll admit it. We’re only in it for the marshmallows. Nothing beats a freshly toasted marshmallow straight from the campfire. But what if you want to satisfy your sweet tooth without going camping? Try this tea. It’s a sweet, toasty black tea blend with cinnamon, brittle and…you guessed it! Mini marshmallows. Now you can enjoy your favourite outdoorsy treat without a hungry bear in sight.

Ingredients: Black tea, marshmallows, brittle pieces, cinnamon, allspice, kukicha green tea.

I made this as a tea latte because I didn’t like the idea of marshmallows floating around in water.
It was pleasant, but like others have said the allspice is very strong and overpowers the rest of the flavours.
There are nicer teas to use in a tea latte so even though it is nice I wouldn’t buy again

What a nice-smelling tea: all toasty and nutty with tiny mini-marshmallows! I wish it were just a hair stronger; I added half-and-half and a dash of sugar to mine, and it had a slightly sweet, nutty flavor.

I was excited for this one, but it wasn’t what I imagined it to be. I was expecting a sweet marshmallow with a bit of spice, but instead it has a strong spice taste, and barely any sweetness to it. I wouldnt buy this again.

Cup of this with whipped cream vodka tastes weirdly like an apple pie. But delicious. I wouldn’t recommend the whipped cream vodka on its own, though, since it’s way too sweet and has too much of a liquor bite to it.

Oh right! The tea! I love this spice blend, it’s smoky and creamy. Almost like a chai but without the overwhelming flavours that sometimes turn me off chai.

Not really marshmallow-flavored ultimately, but this was still a great tea. It comes across as being more chai-like with the cinnamon and allspice. Those mini marshmallows sweeten the tea a fair bit and it tastes quite creamy even without any added milk. It’s a great-tasting fun sort of tea, but it doesn’t really match the name.

Absolute favourite tea I have ever had. It’s more sweet marshmallow than toasted, but it is exactly what I look for when it comes to drinking a sweet, straight black tea. It’s a shame it’s discontinued, will make sure the 250g bag I have lasts.

I got Toasted Marshmallow tea for my birthday from my friend.

I must admit, when I look at this tea, I could swear that I have seen these ingredients somewhere before… like maybe… on a tree! Haha.

Anyways, so as soon as I read that this tea contains allspice, I went to sniff my own container of allspice in my kitchen, and well, the tea and the allspice, smell almost identical! The taste is very rustic and a bit sweet, but really, nothing like toasted marshmallows! Sorry to disappoint you all, but the allspice is overpowering, and it’s basically all I taste.

As a quick side note, right after my friend ordered this tea for me, they discontinued it :( Oh well. I’ll miss it a little bit, and I’ll enjoy the 50g that I have with me now and cherish and savor it!

I honestly think this would have worked better as just a black tea rather than a black and green blend, because it’s a bit weak. Even when I steeped it for a long time, it felt like not enough once I put in the milk. Taste was like a graham cracker with a hint of cinnamon, sugar, and cream.

The marshmallows are cute but they don’t add much flavour, just sweetness. A good concept, but not perfectly executed – I’m glad David’s lets me purchase just an ounce because that’s a good amount to try a few times without feeling ripped off if it’s not great.
