Muscatel is normally associated with 2nd FLUSH TEAS but this tea which comes from PURE CHINA BUSHES from an elevation of above 6000 feet has very prominent MUSCAT NOTES.
The dry leaves are a visual delight as there is a fine balance of forest green and light brown leaves. When steeped for full 5 minutes it gives a very smooth amber coloured liquor with floral aroma.
The flavour is complex yet balanced. The sip starts with a sweet peach like note along with a faint vegetative mouth-feel making it just the right balance for an ideal 1st Flush. As the sip ends it gives a very clear MUSCAT PUNCH. Overall a well balanced and perfect cup which is sure to energize you.
