From Crafted Leaf Tea

2015 Blue Label High Mountain Ancient Arbor Raw Puerh

This Blue Label High Mountain Raw Puerh is made in 2015. Its leaves are picked from wild ancient arbor of over 120 years at the altitude~2000 meter where is untouched by human activity.

The teacake itself is not as fragrant as we expected. However, in the first steep, the bittersweet comes first and linger then you can find the lovely fruitiness and the mineral umami note surge up and stimulate the taste buds. This cakes has a wonder bittersweet (medium – high). A bitterness we would describe as smooth. Because it comes along with other flavors in a rhythm in the sip. The tea itself is very smooth without astringency and with much “Cha Qi” after the sip.

This tea has been tested in a certified laboratory and has passed the MRL limits for pesticide residues as established by the EU Food and Safety commission.
