A tightly-furled high quality green tea with a nice strawberry and papaya essence. Contains dried fruit bits and is quite sweet as a result. Unlike many other strawberry teas, it’s not fake-tasting. The only reason this isn’t a favorite is due to the odd aftertaste imparted by the marigold petals. It’s a dry, astringent zap that is oddly reminiscent of the way bug spray tastes. Weird, yes, but I don’t know any other way to describe it! Wish they’d left the marigold out of the blend.

This is one of the best flavored green teas I have had. The strawberry flavor is strong and not artificial tasting. There is an underlying vegetal note that is barely perceptible. There is a natural sweetness to the tea. This is good stuff. I bought more of this the other day when I went to the store.

I brewed 3 tsp leaf in a 16oz Teavana Glass Perfect Tea Maker/Gravity Steeper with 175 degree water for 3 minutes.
