From Citizen Tea

his tea has been delicately crafted from long twisted black tealeaves and fine tips. Richly perfumed and great for pairing with spicy foods and chocolaty desserts, this regal tea has an earthy, warm taste and is noted as the champagne of black teas. To top it off, this tea has been brought here by direct trade so we can ensure our tea and our tea farmers are being treated with the fairness and respect they deserve.

After my bad experience with the David’s tea version of Keemum, I approached this tea with a bit of wariness… I find they can be boring, for my tastes sometimes and others they really hit my sweet spot. This time? Perfection.
Complex, bready, malty, noms.
I made it through six infusions, combining two at a time in a large mug. The last two were pretty weak so I let it sit there for an hour. End result? weak… but the aftertaste of sweet molasses is pretty awesome.

Six is uber impressive!

The last two I wouldn’t go for again, unless I overleaf more. But it was far more than I expected :P
