Origin: Iron Goddess is a premium variety of Chinese oolong tea associated with AnXi in the FuJian province. It has been harvested since the formation of the qing dynasty, over 200 years ago.
Description: Rated one of “Top 10 Famous Chinese Tea”. Iron Goddess is named after the Buddhist deity GuanYin. It has also been translated as "Iron Goddess of Mercy. It is rolled delicately and tightly into a sort of bean-like shape. The leaves are a fresh green color and its tea is a bright red. This tea has a mellow taste with a unique, long lasting flower aroma when it is steeped, even several times. Iron Goddess is semi-fermented variety of tea. The spent of tea leaves are yellow green, luster and soft.
