Made with “Ban Zhang” area tea leaves, including New Ban Zhang, Lao(Old) Ban Zhang & Lao Man Er.
**Please note that Douji’s Creator Mr. Chen Hai Bill mixes his Ban zhang instead of making a pure new or old ban zhang area ban zhang. He wants his ban zhang to be different compare to other tea company ban zhang that’s why he mix the tea.
Many ppl do ask why Douji never produce Pure Lao(Old) Ban Zhang after 2007. Mr. Chen Hai Baio answer: “Lao Ban Zhang price gone up each year because many Guang Dong Puerh Collector pushes the price up, there is no point to make Lao Ban Zhang anymore, ppl are not drinking the tea because they like it, ppl is drinking it because of the name Lao Ban Zhang!”
Ban Zhang is located in Menghai Area, belongs to Bu Long Mountain tea area.
People called Ban Zhang the King of Puerh and Yiwu as the Queen of Puerh.
If you are a big fan of raw puerh but never came across to Ban Zhang, than this is something that you MUST try! This tea is superb!
