Hojicha is known for its mild and toasty aroma; distinguished from others Japanese tea It is fired at high temperature, altering the leaf color from green to reddish-brown appearance, and mild due to losing tannin during the high temperature roasting process.

The process also removes much caffeine so this is gentle tea that good for everyone!
