Authentic Green Tea with White Tea

I drink this at work and I think it’s a serviceable green tea. It is a bit harsh, but the addition of white tea does help tame the strong grassy flavor. Even I did not rate this tea highly, it is probably my favorite green tea that uses fannings.

This is my go to green tea because I’m cheap and it’s pretty fool proof. I’ve left the bag in my cup for hours, and it hasn’t gotten bitter on me or changed the flavor. I use my Keurig to heat the water, let it cool for a few seconds, and then dump a bag in, add honey (or a teaspoon of sugar) and go. It has a light taste to it that I like, and don’t get sick of. I don’t think I’ve ever had a scent problem with it like I have had with others. Overall, I just really like this tea.

not my favorite cup of tea. very plain with a weird scent and flavor, will not be drinking this again. maybe i steeped it wrong…

I’ve been drinking this a lot lately since Green tea is a magic drug, and I’ve been having health issues. Green tea is supposed to be healthy, and whether or not this tea is, I’ve been drinking it. And I like it. Not very strong, but not very weak, this is a good middle of the ground type of green tea. Yes, it’s bagged, but whatever. That just means I can brew it up, let it set while I cook up whatever, and then drink it quick, or sip it slow. Either way, it’s not crazily caffeinated to the point where I might lose my mind, and it’s comfortable. Just don’t let the last little bit of tea in the mug go cold with the bag still in, or else it gets horribly bitter and you’ll wish you could’ve had something else that morning.

As inexpensive bagged green teas go, I really like this one. I’ve compared it to the Bigelow, but have the opposite reaction to the other reviewer. For me, this wins. However, it doesn’t seem to be available in larger containers, so if you shop at Sam’s, the Bigelow is much, much cheaper.

Very nice, light green tea. Has an earthier flavor than other green teas that I have tried, including Bigelow Green Tea. I think its a nice change on occasion.

Typical everyday taste

It’s okay. Nothing wrong with it. Not amazing though.

Since I got my toddler to take a nap today, I thought I’d entertain my dorky self with an exciting taste test. (It’s the little things, people) In the ring, Bigelow plain green tea and Celestial Seasonings plain green. Water boiled on stove just until saw bubbles, steep time exactly 2 minutes. The Bigelow won hands down. So, I’ll finish this box and then it’s back to the old favorite!

not bad but pretty generic with little to no body – I like green teas a little more smokey.
