From Capital Teas

Sailor’s Delight, one of our signature blends along with Chesapeake Sunrise and Annapolis Treasures, is a delightful blend of flavored black and green tea. The strawberry and papaya add a floral note and a slight sweetness. A cup of Sailor’s Delight will have you feeling the warm sun and cool breezes on your face as if you were sailing away from all of your troubles.

Tea of the morning here, somehow I felt like something light and green. :)

This is not for purists, it’s a blend of green and black tea with strawberry and papaya. The papaya makes it a tiny bit tart on your tongue and the strawberry is present but not overpowering. I’m not picking up on much sweetness and am even tempted to add a touch of sugar. I had this iced over the summer and I think it’s really good that way. I like it a little less when it’s hot but it’s still fairly tasty and refreshing.

I have enjoyed it but not sure I will need anymore when this supply runs out.

This was interesting. Good! I imagine it’s called Sailors Delight due to the fact it actually has flavours associated with fruits known to have vitamin C in it. Which made me think of citrus. So when I saw Strawberry in TeaBrat’s description, it made me think twice. I think I need to have another cuppa :)
Thanks for the sample TeaBrat!! This is quite yummy. I just haven’t decided in what way, fruit wise. yet. haha
