Lingia Tea Garden is in the western section of the Darjeeling Region in India. It is known for its classic ‘Pure China’ tea plants grown from original seeds rather than cuttings. The meticulous processing of the leaves, using orthodox procedures, results in a black tea with a beautiful aromatic complexity and a notable visual elegance.
Bright and lively, the sustained liquor leads us to saline (soy) and fruity (green grape) notes as a base for the explosive floral notes of roses, typical to this terroir.
A frank, well balanced tea, plucked in the highest section of the garden, at an altitude of about 1800 metres.
