I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed this one yet. It’s a staple in my tea collection – I always have this on hand. It’s my favorite lemon ginger tea out there. I don’t drink this everyday but when I do it’s several cups at a time. A very relaxing cup and very delicious.

Interesting! May I ask where you found that? (I love Bigelow Ginger Snappish, which is a seasonal lemon/ginger combo that disappears in January.)

I’ve had this before as a hot tea and I really enjoyed it. I made this as a cold brew today since I needed something for the evenings. (I tend to waaaay over do it on caffeine.)

I’m not sure about the probiotics aspect but this is a nice lemon-y tea. The ginger didn’t come through very strongly as a cold brew but there is a hint of it.

The problem with adding probiotics to tea is they can’t survive boiling water if you make it as hot tea.

I agree but I thought maybe cold brewed there might be some positive effect.

There are said to be probiotics in ripe puerh too. The Chinese believe that these probiotics can survive boiling water. My gastroenterologist said something different.

This is my go-to evening tea. I drink it straight, and I leave the tea bag in the entire time. The ginger isn’t over powering, and balances nicely with the lemon.

Bought this tea for when I feel sick because it stands up well to honey. I don’t normally sweeten teas. Pretty much only when sick. Don’t want to waste good tea when I can’t appreciate the flavor profile.
I have a cold and possibily a tad bit of a sore throat.
Brewed 2 tea bags in 16 oz of water with organic honey. Smell lemon, lots of lemon. Tastes primarily of lemon. I only get a little ginger and honey.
I feel this tea does the job I bought it for. However, I wouldn’t drink it on its own. 75

Ohh, what a scent! The first thing I noticed about this tea upon steeping was the scent. Warm, like a warm lemony dessert. Very home-and-hearth, reminds me of nice blankets and a cozy fall day (unlike today!). Not strikingly lemony, but you can still catch the scent. A bit sweet also! Even without sugar.

Something in this tea burns my tongue, and I’m going to assume it’s the ginger. The flavors of lemon and ginger were noticeable, and the presence of the latter made me particularly excited. It all reminded me of a dessert, as I said, warm and lemony, but not without a little bite. I really enjoy that unexpected sweet taste from a tea that I bought to calm my stomach (and it did!).

Nothing is bitter about this tea, all very smooth, silky even. All in all, sweet, lemony, but not overly powerful (actually a bit weak). Has a bite to it. Will drink for pleasure rather than because I need to make room in my cupboard. ^^

(No ranking because I’m congested right now.)

A mild lemon-ginger flavor — didn’t get strong even though I accidentally left the teabag in the cup for half an hour.

Bought this by mistake and not sure I really want specially engineered extreme-temperature resistant gut bacteria on a daily basis (search for GanedenBC30, you’ll see what I mean), but it’s okay once in a while.

Commuter Notes: Teabags in individual foil-lined pouches; withstands long steeping times.

Spicy ginger and tangy lemon blend together for a great sick tea. I’ve been giving it to my roommate to help rehydrate and settle her stomach. Best with honey.

this tea had a great smell when I first opened it. However, the taste was muted. It really surprised me that it was so bland. Bit I didn’t hate it and I wanted the effects of the ginger and probiotics, so I blended it with some black tea. It snapped into place and my second cup was quite good. Although, it’s not a stand alone, I will be adding this to my cupboard.

I had this tea with breakfast this morning. I really enjoyed the creamy lemon meringue taste. :)
