Note to self. Read previous tasting notes if you haven’t had this in a while. Looks like i loved this in latte form, so maybe i’ll do that tomorrow. TOday though, as a tea this was pretty perfect. Just the right balance of coffee like chocolate, creamy tea. Overall, i’m glad i cracked in to this one early… esp since there are so many orders incoming lol

Final Count: 138 no change. Must get at least 3 in tomorrow to make up for it…ignoring of course the fact that 11-15 new teas will be added to my cupboard tomorrow. bah!

tea-sipper

I love your note to read your note. :D

Sil

lol yeah…i’m losing my mind lately haha

TeaLady441

I’m a little nervous about the pile of teas I have piling up over there. I’m so not ready!

Sil

Haha I’m putting together your box and variateas box tonight…as well as splitting out things for whatshesaid and possibly 221….omgsrsly…..

TeaLady441

Hahah. Do these boxes have room for Lupicia teas? And more? How much can I stuff in it before I have to go get it?

Sil

it’s already moved from dr seuss to a bigger box…and now i have your address again so it could mysteriously show up at your house

TeaLady441

No no no – you can’t pay to ship it to me – that’s obscene! Only I’m allowed to throw money away on shipping! :D

Sil

Who said anything about shipping? I can take the bus.

OMGsrsly

Don’t you dare, Sil! I could throw some serious revenge your way. I do love some floral teas… ;)

Sil

hey you have a lonely tea here…waiting to fly to you… it has your name on it and everything… only one!

WOW. Looks like I enjoyed this one a little too much. I never logged it until now, and it’s my very last cup! Of all the Bayswater teas I bought last month, it’s also the first one to go, with Divine Temptation trailing closely behind.

I know some of the West Coasters thought this one smelled a little strange in the store, and I agree, especially after you smell ones like Creme Brulee and Divine Temptation. The chocolate just seemed too heavy and almost earthy, maybe.

But this is like Creme Brulee with more chocolate and creaminess. With half-and-half, it reminds me of a coffee chocolate truffle, dusted with cocoa powder. It transports me back to the French chocolate truffles one of the German delis in Edmonton carries.

Oh great, now I want either more of this tea or a box of those truffles.

Or both.

Sil

Want lol

TeaLady441

Hmmmmm….. I wish I’d grabbed some after all!

Plunkybug

Yum…I don’t remember if I smelled this or not…I think I did.

OMGsrsly

I didn’t get this one because it has coffee beans in it. I’ll have to sniff it again. :)

I forgot how much I liked this tea. It’s good! So good! Just add milk and you have a nice creamy, coffee-like substitute with cocoa notes in it. And maybe hazelnut? I’ll have to get more. Maybe someday Bayswater will ACTUALLY get their webstore going so that I can do so without relying on others to get it for me. :D

So Fjellrev’s swap package arrived today and it smelled AMAZING! Being so late at night, a caffeinated tea with coffee beans probably wasn’t the best choice but I am pretty sure it was the source of the delicious smell so I could not resist.

Tastewise, this is really quite delicious. It is akin to what I believe mocha tastes like (I have never had it so this could be wrong but in my mind it is a coffee flavor that is a little bit chocolatey). There is also a nice hint of vanilla. It is similar to Teavana’s JavaVana (one of the few Teavana teas I like) but a bit more mellow. I imagine this would make an awesome latte though it is still very enjoyable as a straight tea. Thank you, Fjellrev, for sharing this tea with me. I can definitely see why you like it so much :)

In other news, DAVIDs has a hibiscus creamed honey. WHY? Why does that sound like a good idea? Don’t you think you have enough hibiscus in your teas already DAVIDs?

Lol sounds good to me strangely….

VariaTEA

Well it is on sale (I may have just wrote “Sal” instead of sale) on their web specials page :)

Roswell Strange

Boo to the hibiscus honey; definitely not needed!

OMGsrsly

There’s blackberry creamed honey sticks too! Those I’m kinda excited about.

Fjellrev

Glad you liked it! It’s even better with half and half.
