From Adagio Teas

A native of the Mediterranean, peppermint leaves were often used to crown luminaries in ancient Greece and Rome. It continues to be revered for its cooling, crisp aroma, deeply refreshing flavor, and smooth finish. If you have yet to try gourmet peppermint tea, made from just pure peppermint (no added oils or sweeteners), you’ll be pleasantly surprised by its superior flavor.

Love this – perfect for drinking straight after dinner with or without dessert, or for blending other teas with.

This is my “I ate too much” tea. Don’t smell the dry leaves too deeply, it’s eye-wateringly strong. Really really minty, pretty straightforward as far as peppermint tea goes, nothing added or artificial, just dried mint leaves.

I loved the flavor, the aftertaste sits with you for minutes after you take a sip. Great while it cools, great hot. Just an all around amazing tea and if you are having some nasal problems, take a big wiff in the bag and it’ll clear it right up.

I have been drinking bagged peppermint tea daily for the last couple weeks and decided to purchase some loose leaf peppermint since it has become my new go-to. I am super glad that I did!

The peppermint almost knocked me over when I opened the bag. It was so strong and so amazing! Cleared the sinuses right up! It stayed pretty strong-smelling during steeping and I was a little worried that it would taste as strong as it smelled. I think I could actually stand to use another tsp or so as the finished product wasn’t as strong as I would have liked.

It is delicious though! I love drinking it after a big meal or before bed. It is very minty and refreshing. It also helps settle and sooth my stomach if I’m feeling a bit bloated or bubbly. ;)

Would recommend and will continue drinking until I’ve made myself sick of it! (I also bought a small sample of the Vanilla Rooibos to mix and will be trying that next!)

WOW, is this minty. Not that I should really be surprised by that.

I’m not a mint person usually, but this isn’t bad. It’s a very clear taste, with a slightly sweet lingering aftertaste. I can imagine this would be good iced. I might mix it with something else next time, because it is too minty for me, but I’m sure a mint lover would be very happy!

Pairs well with anxiety and a stale prepackaged brownie you kept in your desk drawer in case of emergency.

But seriously, this is a really good tea. It’s delightfully minty without being overpowering or fake tasting. And it really does calm my stomach and my nerves.

Definitely my go-to tea. Delicious straight, but also the base of various experimental mixes. Very clean, no grassy taste like with other mint tea-bags.

Getting to stick my nose in the big bag of wonderful-smelling peppermint is certainly an added bonus as well.

I’m not a minty tea fan. But my daughter is. It’s reminiscent of the “sleepy” tea from her childhood. This tea, however, is very strong, and very minty, even for a long time minty tea fan. She blended this with Adagio chamomile. It was delicious. I loved it too.

It is super relaxing. The two really compliment one another. For a teen, she has quite the sophisticated palate. This is a wonderful bedtime, unwind from your day combo. I highly endorse!
