From Adagio Teas

Green tea from China with the delicate flavors of lemon and lime. A happy marriage of great taste and proven health benefits. Just the right touch of citrus flavors to liven up the cup. Makes a light and refreshing drink that’s popular both hot and iced. If you are new to green tea, this lightly flavored tea may be a good place to start.

Nice stuff. The perfect proportion of citrus flavor. Downright tasty. This is really good as is, but my wife has found a way to make it even better. She created a custom blend on Adagio, mixing the Citron Green with Oriental Spice making “Citron Spice.” Delicious either hot or iced. I think Citron Green would mix well with other flavors as well.

Oh yum! A green base version of MarketSpice Chai! I’d add a little vanilla green in it:)

While a little awkward, due to the fact that if I close my eyes it tastes exactly how I sense a warmed lime Perrier would taste, I think I may end up enjoying this unique sample of green tea. The citrus flavor, while obvious and strong gives this green an otherwise surprisingly refreshing finish. The second steep (3 minutes) was just right and diluted the punch to the face that the first steep gives. Not my favorite, but enjoyable none the less.

Had gotten a bit burnt out on this one, but after coming back to it later, I still enjoy it.

I think I just need to take it easy with this one.

Still feeling sick today, but luckily I had a short day at school. The citrus flavor I get from this tea doesn’t taste completely real to me. I always found it strange that the description for this tea says that it is lemon and lime flavored, but the ingredients list only mentions orange. Nevertheless I enjoyed this hot today to help my sore throat.

Having a cup of this before I give a friend the rest of my sample. Though not because I didn’t like it – I just want to share!

I feel like this is a really balanced tea. I love lemon, and would happily drink teas that make my mouth pucker up, but this is mildly tart citrus flavor with a sweet and smooth aftertaste. You can still tell it’s a green tea, which I appreciate. Very easy to drink.

I loved this tea! It has such a nice light green tea flavor with a hint of citrus. It’s currently one of my favorites and makes a delicious iced tea.

Got this as a .5 oz sample in store. There is a lemony taste that isn’t over powering and it nicely compliments the fresh grassy taste of the tea leaves. It leaves a nice refreshing taste in your mouth and tastes great even after a few steeping’s.

I this as another sample from Caligatia. It supposedly has citrus in it (confirmed by sightings of zest in the dry mix). I don’t taste it though. I taste a basic green tea. Not bad, a good cup, but nothing to rave about. I’ll happily finish out the sample and bid it adieu.

Readed the many comments about it smelling like Fruit Loops. I did not get that the first time I smelled the tea leaves. Now through the power of suggestion everytime I smell it I think of Fruit Loops of even Fruity Pebbles. Even with that said I still like the tea. It has a refreshing taste and a great balance with the green tea. Once brewed everything seems to work. I found it to be one of my favorites in the Adagio Green Teas.

Citron Green Tea was great. It had a strong citrus smell, but it wasn’t overwhelming in the actual taste of the tea. It tasted like a pure, crisp, and refreshing green tea with a hint of citrus flavor but not orangey. It’s hard to describe. I thought I tasted a hint of a fruity pebbles taste, but I thought I was just crazy. Apparently I’m not as plenty of others have noticed a fruit loopy taste.
Overall a pleasant tea, that I’m going to order again.
