I hot steeped this regular strength last night, let it cool, then put it in the fridge too get cold.
Today I’m drinking it as iced chai latte – about 2/3 cold tea, 1/3 milk and some sweetener.
This is really good prepared this way.

Almost positive this is The Tao of Tea’s 500 Mile Chai, however I still need confirmation so I’m putting this here.

Hoo boy, this is one strong chai. The base is a bit much for me; I like my chai less in-your-face. Hasn’t stopped me from drinking it… the ginger is quite lovely here, as is the cardamom and something sweet, sweeter than normal in a straight chai. I do like it, it’s just something I probably shouldn’t have had at 12:41am…

I keep making midnight teas too – I’ll be too tired all evening to get up and make my tea, and by the time I do, it keeps me awake until half past 2. WHOOPS!

Oops.. I know what happens when I forget and drink too much black tea too late! Hope you got to sleep ok.

MissB

I was sooo tired, and I read a study recently saying that chai tea (even caffeinated) somehow helps folks fall asleep faster. I’d hoped this might have been the case last night. ;)

Angrboda

That probably has something to do with warm milk.

Hmm.. Interesting idea… might have to try it sometime and see how it works for me.
