From abbey tea

Chen Xiang literally means ‘the fragrance of old’.

The leaves were picked in 2006 and stored under ideal conditions for ten years to further mature. This is a superb, mellow, smooth, aged puerh cake which was stone mould pressed in 2016 using high quality sun-dried leaves from ancient arbour trees at an altitude of 1700m in the Bulang Shan mountains.

These Shi Nian Chen Xiang ripe tea cakes won the Gold prize in the 2016 Yunnan Tea Contest organised by the Tea Association Chamber of Commerce.

It has a delicious, sweet, fruity, mellow taste which is satisfying to the palate and soothing to the stomach. We highly recommend this prize winning cake for its superior taste and pleasant aroma like sun-dried Chinese dates.

Drink it after a meal or whenever you need a calming cup of tea
