Yesterday, I had prepared my things for waking up at crazy o’clock to go walking with a neighbourhood friend: clothing, bag, tea in steeper. I selected this one for the walk because after walking in the cold and wind, I don’t much mind not drinking the perfect thing because I am on the bus or on the subway and my face and thighs are still defrosting. Having warm tea in my hands is already a good thing. My walking friend came to her senses and cancelled. When I woke up this morning, my tea had already been decided and was good to go.

I’ve had this one for a while. I seldom reach for it because the green tea and chai combination doesn’t seem to beckon me. Nonetheless, it’s a good blend and I am enjoying it. Typical chai spice on a buttery base with a bit of a tart cider tang. It works.

Finally got a thermometer so i can not burn my greens until i get a variable temp kettle, so i figured i’d give this one a taste.

At first i could only slightly taste the flavors of the apple and spice, but as it cooled it definitely came on stronger. Worked really well with the green base. all in all a good cuppa!
