From A.C. Perch's Thehandel

A very aromatic Oolong tea from a small mountain area named Doi Tung Mountains, located in the northern part of Thailand.
This tea is being produced in approximately 1800 meter above the sea. Due to the varying temperature the tea plants grow slower in this area.
Because of this slow process, the bouquet of this tea is more sweet and elegant.
This tea is also called Royal Pearl Red Oolong Tea.

Recommended preparation: 100°C water/10 g. per liter water

Time: 8 minutes

A.C. Perch Advent 2021 Day 15

Wow, this tea is really lovely! It’s so incredibly smooth with none of the mineral-type flavours that some roasted-type oolongs have (though this isn’t roasted).

There is a delightful sweetness here, but yet it’s more of a light-medium body and not too heavy.

Lexa says “It’s light, elegant, delicious.”

The second steep almost smells like a black tea! It’s lost some of the magic, but still a good cuppa.

1st steep: 6 minutes
2nd steep: 7 minutes 30 seconds
