AJRimmer Advent Day 2

AJRimmer was so kind to specifically include all the flavor profiles that I especially enjoy in this calendar! Caramel and oolong seems like such a natural pairing to me, since both have a natural smoothness to them. This was definitely smooth, but the flavoring was on the light side. I mostly tasted the oolong base with just a hint of caramel and fruitiness. This is another one that I think might have benefited from a bit of sweetener. Still fun to try, though!

The flavors here are definitely mild when it’s hot. I taste oolong, which isn’t my favorite sort of tea. I taste very little caramel or apple, just hints. I mixed this with a coconut oolong, and I felt like that was pretty nice. It’s slightly more flavorful cold. Now I taste a bit of fruitiness, but still mostly oolong.

(52teas (Anne) 2022: already recorded)

Counting this v.3 as already recorded since I already drank v.2 this year. Sadly, I have very little recollection of what I thought of this tea (I’m a bit behind on tasting notes; we’ve had a flock of visitors over the past couple weeks!) but I think I may like v.2 more. Will have to write more later!
