Backlog. I picked up a little of this tea to try, as I haven’t before, even though its part of their core collection. To be honest, its an okay tea, blueberry tasting, but not like real blueberries. I wouldn’t buy more of it. I’ve only had it hot, but maybe its good as a latte or something? EH. Nothing special.

drank Apple Crumble by Steeped Tea

I got 25g of this tea for only $2, so can’t go wrong with this one. It smells super good. I taste apple and cinnamon firstly, it could also be the spices because I don’t see cinnamon as an ingredient. It is a pretty simple tea, but its a good and tasty one. Perfect for fall, especially on this rainy day.

Second time having this tea and I have to say I really enjoy this one! I’m a big fan of banana in teas, and this has a great banana taste with a hint of coconut. I will definitely be buying more of this one! Yum.

drank Spearmint (Organic) by DAVIDsTEA

First time trying this recently – since it’s retiring for some reason unknown to me. Lately mint has been growing on me, and this tea is actually pretty good and soothing. I can taste the difference between spearmint, and peppermint now. This is a sweeter mint, like gum… I really enjoy this, and I don’t understand why they would retire it. I haven’t seen any other spearmint teas around… Just peppermint. So I guess I’ll have to stock up on this now.
I wonder how much will fill a tinzilla. Not much I’m guessing :P

100g tin fits anywhere between 30-50g depending on how tightly you pack it, so tinzilla would be in the 75g-150g ballpark, I think? If I’m mathing correctly, anyway.

DT sends this one to to us in 250g bags though, which is normally what we sell in the tinzillas so in theory and if you were so inclined you could just buy one of the bags DT sends it to us in. You should still get your free tinzilla w. the 250g purchase, and then you could top up the tin from the giant silver bag as needed?

That sounds like a good idea!

drank S’mores Chai by DAVIDsTEA

This tea is pretty darn good. I’ll be honest, I didn’t think I’d like it due to the brittle pieces and puerh, but steeped at 4 mins, with some sugar, it’s quite delicious. Great as a latte as well. It actually resembles the aspects of a s’more. Though I don’t like actual s’mores, this is my way of enjoying it. Without the unhealthiness, haha! I’m still deciding whether I need more than the 150g I have or not… Hmm.

drank Georgia Peach by Steeped Tea

This is too rooibos-y on its own… I’d like more peach flavour. With milk & sugar it’s drinkable though.

drank Sticky Rice Oolong by DAVIDsTEA

I redeemed one of my FS rewards on this one, since it’s a bit pricey otherwise. I don’t know what sticky rice tastes like, but this is really tasty with honey in it! It’s a nice oolong with almost a rice pudding taste. I like.

Still have the original blend and it tastes better than I remember it. Now that it’s fall I will get to drinking it! It’s sweet, of course, a little artificial, but its tasty all the same.

Surprisingly hadn’t tried this tea till now, so I used a free tea on it. For some reason I always thought it was for mothers, and since I’m not a mother, I never tried it. But apparently its a good night time tea as well. This tea is actually pretty good. Minty, but fruity as well. Its really kind of soothing. I like.

Having this one iced in my tea press, and its actually pretty good with some sugar added. I taste the orange more so than anything else, and it’s nice and refreshing. Not much else to say though.

Bio

Hi, I’m Michelle and I am pretty much obsessed with tea. Some people say I have a problem. I mostly drink DavidsTea – but I am open to trying other ones too.

Things I LOVE in tea:
-Fruits (especially peach, melon, strawberry, banana, berries etc)
-Chocolate
-Lemongrass
-Cinnamon

Things I don’t MIND in tea:
-Stevia
-Vanilla
-Pineapple
—Mint & Peppermint

Things/ingredients I HATE in tea:
-Coconut (Rare exceptions)
-Nuts (Some exceptions)
-Caramel/toffee
-Earl Grey (Bergamot)
-Rice/fennel
-Coffee beans
-Bamboo
-Lavender

I am quite picky with my teas. If the primary ingredients are mixed with something I don’t tend to like – I will try it and its possible I’ll like it. But if the tea is mostly/primarily something I hate – I won’t even try it.
I mostly like Herbals, Green, Oolong, White and Black teas.
