Hmm, smelling this it smells really good. Festive even. But tasting it, its quite different. I can taste the spice I was smelling, but it also tastes creamy and somewhat like eggnog. Which I don’t care for. I think it’s safe to say I won’t be buying any more of this one. I’ll finish what I have, but it isn’t for me.

Flavors: Creamy, Eggnog, Spices

yes this tea is described on their website as eggnog!

Michelle

I actually think I liked the original ‘Eggnog’ tea better than this.

I was so psyched to buy this just based on the description, but then I tried a free sample in the mall, and it’s also not for me :(

I don’t know why I thought I’d like this tea… But when I got it, the overwhelming smell of bergamot and lavender was so strong, I almost didn’t want to try it. I steeped it for 1 minute, added some sugar, and it’s drinkable. I don’t like the flavour at all. It has an after taste and its really weird for me. Bergamot and lavender aren’t things I like.

I’m having this one hot tonight… I think I like it better iced. I’m tasting orange and carrot. Not a big fan of the carrot though. This is just okay.

Picked up literally 10g of this to try – and since its such a light tea, 10g seems like a fair bit. But I was so looking forward to trying this, and since it is now online as well – maybe I’ll sneakily use my FS reward on it. At first I only steeped it for 4 mins, but it needed more, so I stuck the leaves back in for a bit. I added some sugar and it’s actually not bad. Better than the first 4 mins, haha! It has a vegetal taste. Also kinda buttery and floral. I don’t get any citrus/lemon out of this at all… Which is disappointing, but maybe resteeped will be different? Anyways, so far for a straight white, I quite enjoy it.

Flavors: Butter, Floral, Vegetal

Iced 8 min or more

Drinking one of my fall faves this morning… Still loving this lovely blend of blueberry and cinnamon. ’It’s like a hug in a cup’ definitely rings true for me.

drank Mocha Matcha by DAVIDsTEA

I got about 20g to try from somebody, so I’d get what everyone thought was so great… But honestly it wasn’t the best matcha I’ve had. I tasted the mocha a little bit, but it was subdued. And maybe it’s because it’s older, but still… Wish it was better. I think Steeped Tea’s is better than this. Even if it isn’t sweetened.

Flavors: Grass, Mocha

My own opinon. If you want to experience chocolate and matcha at the same time, the best way to do it is to drink matcha, plain, without sugar, and have a great chocolate great beside it. :))

Got a sample of this tea, and it smells sort of like amaretto… Not my favourite smell. It’s sweet, and definitely reminds me of amaretto. Sweet, with a play dough taste to it. Not a bad tea, but not the best either.

Okay, even the ingredients in this tea scream gross to me. I got a sample of this, so I might as well give it a go. Being a green tea it’s sort of delicate, so I only steeped it for 2 mins. I can taste the peppercorns and popped rice… Possibly the pineapple. I had to put sugar in this to even drink it, so that might be bringing it out. I’m really glad I can’t taste the bamboo cause I hate that in tea. This tea is drinkable but meh.

Someone sent me a sample of this one, and I decided to have it before bed tonight. I don’t know why I haven’t tried this before. Maybe because of the mint? Who knows – but now that I like mint in teas, I was more than willing to try it. This is actually really good! It’s nice and relaxing, with the citrus/lemon and the mint. The other fruity notes are really nice as well. I’m gonna have to buy some of this! So soothing.

This is very chocolatey – in fact it tastes more like chocolate than orange. Even the smell is overwhelmingly chocolate. And its more like a dark chocolate taste. I can barely taste the orange at all. Not that it’s a bad tea, I’d just like more orange.

Flavors: Chocolate, Cocoa, Dark Chocolate

Bio

Hi, I’m Michelle and I am pretty much obsessed with tea. Some people say I have a problem. I mostly drink DavidsTea – but I am open to trying other ones too.

Things I LOVE in tea:
-Fruits (especially peach, melon, strawberry, banana, berries etc)
-Chocolate
-Lemongrass
-Cinnamon

Things I don’t MIND in tea:
-Stevia
-Vanilla
-Pineapple
—Mint & Peppermint

Things/ingredients I HATE in tea:
-Coconut (Rare exceptions)
-Nuts (Some exceptions)
-Caramel/toffee
-Earl Grey (Bergamot)
-Rice/fennel
-Coffee beans
-Bamboo
-Lavender

I am quite picky with my teas. If the primary ingredients are mixed with something I don’t tend to like – I will try it and its possible I’ll like it. But if the tea is mostly/primarily something I hate – I won’t even try it.
I mostly like Herbals, Green, Oolong, White and Black teas.
