Another one from Sips By. I don’t have a lot to say about this… Besides the fact that it is INTENSELY YELLOW and stained my steel mesh infuser a weird goldish color. It brews up almost opaque and leaves a hefty little cloud of powder on the bottom of my tumbler.

Turmeric takes the lead as far as flavors go. Then ginger and some sort of citrus-like note. It is somewhat spicy, and medicinal-tasting to me. Probably would be nice to sip if you were sick with a cold, though. Especially with a little honey.

Also, thumbs down for no caffeine. I just… am so much less likely to drink a caffeine free tea. I need that boost!

Flavors: Citrusy, Ginger, Medicinal

Ah, a turmeric tea. I had one do that to my infuser too. It was a powdered turmeric blend, and after that I just started infusing it directly into milk in my milk frother so that wouldn’t happen again.

Quiet, strange, and in love with the world of tea. Living just outside of Atlanta. Cat lover, electronic music geek, balcony gardener, and collector of fossils. On the hunt for the perfect tea in each of my favorite categories.

After 10 years on Steepster, I have given up. The lack of maintenance, updates, and mobile compatibility have finally discouraged me. I still use my Cupboard and add teas to the database, but I won’t be logging teas anymore.
