I got this as a sample in a recent order. I was also sick when I drank this, so all I remember about the taste was that it was “hot and pleasant.” This does smell strongly of peppermint, which I like, and it did make me feel better. Would definitely purchase this if I wasn’t feeling well.

I love love love this one. But, sadly, I’ve sipped it down and have to hope DavidsTea will bring it back this winter. A sweet, lightly minty work tea that never fails to bring a smile to my face.

I really wanted to love this one.

I bought this as a work tea because I was running out of herbals, and I need them to balance out the other teas I’m fond of drinking. This was one that sounded so good to me on Adagio’s site. And it is good. It’s just not as caramel tasting as I expected. Good, kind of sweet, but also woody. I liked this one, but I probably won’t reorder it.

Not bad, though it’s not as lemony as I expected.

I don’t know what I did wrong. The first cup of this was sweet and had a decent caramel/butterscotch flavor/aroma. The second cup was astringent and awful. Maybe I need to use cooler water?

Not vanilla, not creamy, kind of bland and astringent. So disappointed by this one.

I use 200F water and only three minutes maximum steep and get a nice cup. Have you played with parameters at all?

Sadly, no. It was work tea and I don’t have the best set up there. I did manage to get a few okay cups, though.

Love this tea. It’s got such a wonderful, juicy flavor and today – a great banana-ish flavor as well (for some reason).

Definitely best when allowed to steep for a ridiculously long time or on its first steep. Yum!

drank Orange Glow by DAVIDsTEA

Grabbed this one as my free tea just because it smelled good. Packaged it up for work, and ended up using it as a travel tea. I think I might be getting better at discerning by smell what I’ll like and not like, because I’m really enjoying this one. At its best, it tastes like a orange creamsicle to me. The orange is definitely the strongest flavor, but I’m loving the creamy undertones to this one.

I think my cupboard has gotten messed up, because I sipped this one down months ago but Steepster is showing it. Hmmm.

Anyway.

I liked this one best as a cold brew – it was a little tart but bursting with citrusy flavor. Hot, a lot of that cirtus/sweet flavor translated but it was definitely more muted than in the cold brewed version.

I became interested in tea spring 2013, when some friends of mine brought me to a local tea shop. I’ve been experimenting since, and am absolutely in love! I am especially fond of blended teas, and I’m a sucker for gimicky flavors.

My cupboard is stocked with a lot of DAVIDsTEA at the present, although I do have a few teas from some local shops. I’m looking forward to branching out and trying teas from different vendors and shops. Let the journey begin!
