I quite like this vanilla black/green blend, but I’m not sure about approaching it as an Earl Grey. To me it has entirely its own character. Still making up my mind whether I prefer Upton’s blend over Tealux.

Seriously very nice. The bergamot is sharp without being too aggressive and lovely floral highlights of lavender with a mild black tea that has just enough body to carry it through. Adding milk feels like a desecration, but I often to do anyways. Creamy and dreamy.

Absolutely delicious! You couldn’t ask for anything more light and sweet. If you like straight rooibos sweetened with honey, definitely give this a try.

A perennial classic since my childhood. Tension Tamer is too much for me! Ideal for when I’m looking for something in between straight chamomile and straight mint.

One of my all-time favorite teas. You can’t bear it for a bergamot-free Earl Grey alternative. Lovely without or without milk (though I recommend sugar over honey).

Not a huge fan. Lovely aroma, but no sweet taste. I probably oversteeped it.

I love tea: black, oolong, green, rooibos, herbals, pu’er, and blends thereof. Not a huge fan of matcha or yerba mate (or the flavor of licorice root, lemongrass, and strong hibiscus), but game to try anything at least once.
A big fan of Harney & Sons and Upton Teas, and poised to take this site by storm with blends from Mark T. Wendell’s of Acton, MA. Curious to try more from Lupicia and Whispering Pines. On an ongoing quest to find the most luscious of peach teas and the most balanced of rose teas. Wish me luck!
