27 Tasting Notes
Ordered this as I read so many good things. First, I always use 2 of the ROT bags. I find I can taste the paper of the teabag sometimes. At any rate, I steeped this, heavy coconut smell. Taste is like a mounds bar, this was actually very taaty, a perfect dessert tea. Would make a fantastic latte.
I was very dissapointed with For Tea’s Sake Chai tea so I was was a little reluctant about this breakfast tea. This is actually very good. It has a nice full body to it. I would not say it is much different that the many other breakfast blends I have tried, however, this one is not bad at all. It is listed on the label as an orange pekoe. I will finish the tin but don’t know if I will repurchase as I have so many other breakfast teas but this one is very good. I had it with a bit of rock sugar and a splash of soy milk as I think the heavy body of this tea needs the milk and sugar to balance it.
Preparation
I have had a box of this tea in the cabinet for some time now. I tried it once before and don’t remember liking it but thought I would try it again as I am working through some older teas. Ok, so, the smell of the bag is straight up intense rooibos smell. I dont get any peach passion smell at all. Once steeped the peach comes out and gives a really nice subtle flavor but the roobios turns earthy tasting, not sweet like it normally does. I had this tea unsweetened (I normally find rooibos does not always need to be sweetened). I don’t find that there is anything amazing about this tea and it would not be one that I would just have to have. I am going to try to finish up the remaining tea in the box but would not repurchase again. It just is an average tea at best.

Preparation
I bought the iced tea tea bags from Starbucks for this tea. Normally I don’t like a huge amount of hibiscus in my tea but this one is actually really good. It is tart and tangy and fruity and refreshing. I really like this. I get a hint of the cinnamon but mostly what I taste is that hibiscus. This is an excellent herbal iced tea. I will repurchase this.

Tried this one today. It was OK, not an amazing Chai but not bad. The description is sultry and I would agree with that. It is not a bright chai rather it is has a darker, less energetic flavor. It seems like there is not enough cinnamon or something in this is missing to me. Would I have it again? sure. I bought a variety pack from Numi so it only came with one of these tea bags but I would make it again if I run across another bag. It is not bad, I just have other Chai teas that I prefer over this one.
My husband picked up this tea to try and I have to say I love this one. It has a nice, delicate peach flavor and none of the grassiness that can sometimes come with green teas. I can see drinking this one in the evenings. Love this. I have always had a place in my tea cupboard for Lipton as I grew up drinking Lipton Iced tea made from the basic orange pekoe tea bags and to this day still love Lipton for that reason!! That aside, this peach green tea is very good, I highly recommend it!!
