1137 Tasting Notes
=D I accidentally sent these to my home address instead of school, so last night when I came home the first thing I did was to brew this!
It smells fantastic. Nummy! Tastes like pineapple and pears in a good way.
This is a really refreshing tea!
Preparation
I decided to brew this “eastern style” – meaning I used a crap ton more leaves and lower steeping times. I used teavana’s perfect tea maker because I don’t have a yixing.
The downside to this is that I used almost all the tea I have of this and immediately felt bad because this was one of the nicer teas I ordered from Zhi.
The upside is that I actually get to REALLY taste the tea! And oh my god it was amazing. I definitely got the pine taste earlier in the steepings and then it came back later.
I’m glad I did this but I still regret using almost all of my leaves =(
I had a friend who tried a sip of it, and she told me a few days after that she wanted to have it again XD
I’m surprised no one else has tried this tea on here.. it’s so awesome! One of the best flavored teas I’ve had so far. Yummy fruity sweetness! (and not overwhelming!) I definitely recommend trying a sample of it next time you order from Upton.
