Yummm, I got me a nice sized bag of this tea this past weekend and I had it hot this go around. Still good but not as an amazing experience that I had the first time with it iced. This will be my summer tea that I will have iced with some milk and german rock sugar….yummm!

Hands down this is my new favorite tea! Hot, cold, iced, with milk, without milk, sugar, no sugar it’s great every which way! I highly recommend this tea, sweet and smooth as silk!

I love reading reviews like this! Making the tea sound so good… :D

drank Jasmine Green Tea by Twinings

Ehh, this tea has a sweet grassy taste to it with a little jasmine hint somewhere in the background. I’m not impressed with this tea, but it may just because I have been accustomed to drinking jasmine pearls as my jasmine green tea staple for the past year or so.

This tea is…rustic? That’s the word that comes to mind when I drink this tea, the peach is nice and the tea is nice, but it seems a bit rough around the edges, but in a good way!

drank Vanilla Chai by Big Train

This is very smooth and makes for a great chai latte, fairly mild on the spice too…probably more nutmeg than anything.

The smell from this tea is much more stronger and appealing than the taste. This tasted like a watered down chai to me. The spices didnt come through in the taste, only the smell was nice and the white tea was nonexistent to me. I am saddened by the drastic difference between the smell and the taste as for I had high hopes.

Awww the taste just bursted your bubble :(

This is slightly chocolate-y and nutty tasting with a spicy background. I can taste the vanilla, chocolate and cinnamon all individually. This is a pretty good mate blend.

drank Almond Biscotti by Teavana

Hmmm this tea is… hmmm, it is a good black tea with an almond flavor and a slight cinnamon flavor lingering around and I must say that by adding about a third of a teaspoon of german rock sugar the “cookie” like taste became more apparent and even more so once it cooled down slightly. I enjoyed this tea, but not one of my favorites… for me it was more so-so, but that is probably me just being biased since I am more of a white and green tea lover.

drank Vanilla Rooibos Parfait by Tazo

Update on my wonderful vanilla rooibos…ahhh how I love thee! I must admit I used to get the vanilla rooibos lattes from Starbucks at $3 something a pop and then I had an epiphany, why not try to make my own latte?! 1 cream and 1 sugar later and this is an exact replicate of the Starbucks version and so now I am even more in love with this treasure!

JacquelineM

I love this one too – I just finished a whole tin!

JonTea

ahah isn’t it the best feeling when you realize you can do it without starbucks. lol

Lori

And much cheaper too!

-Jessica-

Yes, it is an awesome feeling and much cheaper on my pocketbook! LOL

Lisbet

Does it really taste the same? I can’t seem to get the taste to my liking without the use of vanilla syrup. Boo!

This is a very good tea, my only complaint is that the ginger is too much of a bite for me! I like ginger, but as a side note, not the main event! The other flavors make their self known as well, but not like the ginger! If the ginger was toned down this would probably be a regular for me to blend with other teas.

Bio

I am a tea enthusiast who is always looking to try a new tea, but my all time favorite is jasmine pearls…or anything with jasmine in it really. I also am a sushi fanatic and simply can’t live without it. Outside of my fanatasy world of all things tea and sushi I am an executive assistant, mother of 2 and personal taxi/maid and chef service for my little family.

But back to the tea!

I love Jasmine Pearls, just about any White Tea and then we have Pu-erh coming in last as my top three.

However, I still enjoy a good Earl Grey tea, the more bergamot the better! I have a fond place in my heart for Matcha, especially iced Matcha Lattes. Flavored green teas are always fun, but I tend to stay away from the overly grassy tasting ones… they always remind me of a wheatgrass shot!

It takes a special black tea to really win me over, for me I find that they all taste too much alike or tend to be too bitter at times; I think I am more so bored with them.

Oolongs are fairly new to me and I am finding that these are really good and they will probably end up making it as one of my top contenders!

Pu-erh I have yet to try; I am very curious, but a bit scared to try it… something about being aged in a cave just frightens me a bit, but I would like to try one in the very near future :-) Update – I have tried a few pu-erhs and I can’t get enough of them! While they are definitely an acquired taste they are lovely! This has now taken over rooibos in my top 3 teas of choice!
