another darjeeling from my subscription with Golden tips India.
This pick is from Aug 10, 2013
Grade: FTGFOP1 Cl Tip

Abundant with yellowish/white & soft brown tips.
Doesn’t have distinct muscatel flavour upon opening.

2 and half spoon on the pot (450mg); steep produces rather light golden brew, lighter than most of the darjeelings I had so far….

very faint muscatel aftertaste, alas, for me, I prefer mine bold and with muscatel taste/flavour.
Generally, a good darjeeling though, even better for first time tasters that much rather fancy a less pronounced darjeeling ….

Overall, proper darjeeling and o.k.

Preparation
195 °F / 90 °C 2 min, 30 sec 2 tsp 15 OZ / 450 ML
