drank Rosé Royal by Lupicia
59 tasting notes

UPDATE: I steeped 5 grams of the tea per 150 ml of water and left in the refrigerator overnight and noticed a noticeable difference. I thought the strawberry and rosé flavors were more vibrant and clear when served chilled. However, next time around I think I will increase the amount of tea per ml of water to make a stronger tea.

ORIGINAL: Tried this tea in bag form and steeped per Lupicia’s guidelines (150 ml of boiling water, 3 minutes).

I was expecting the tea to be a little sweeter based on the smell of the bag and the sugar crystals, but found the sugar to be very subtle. The strawberry and rosé were there but they came off like a gummy candy to me and’m still not sure how I feel about that with a black tea base. I think it would have worked better with a white or green tea.

I did notice that I found the taste to be more pleasant as the cup cooled down, so I will test to see how this tastes iced.
