I was hoping I was never going to have to review this one, haha. But alas, the cold bug has hit me and I decided to try this blend to see if it would help any. I like to drink mint teas when I’m sick, but I didn’t want to associate my plain peppermint tea with being sick. This one obviously is a little different due to the addition of the eucalyptus. I’m glad I have this in my cupboard now, as it has done good in helping me feel better. Anything to try to take less cold meds, yeah?

I spontaneously bought a bag of this due to my love for minty teas – and mmmm, I am so glad I did! Plain peppermint, nice and strong and right up my alley (and it being organic is a nice touch as well). Well done.

I’m a little wary of maté blends because of the whole stimulant thing (I like them, but don’t have one very often), but I was feeling particularly blah and decided I’d try this one to up the energy level a little. And oh my god, the chocolate raspberry taste I got from this was DIVINE. I think I might stock this when my honeydew maté (yes, from the spring collection, I have been hoarding it!) runs out.

Had this one as a to-go sample from my store a couple of days ago… Absolutely delicious. I’m addicted to anything Earl Grey related, and realised I hadn’t tried this version yet. I had mine plain so I got the full tea flavour. If white tea wasn’t so expensive I would have bought a tin of this on the way out, haha. Maybe sometime in the future :]

I may despise winter, but I love the re-appearance of this tea! This tastes similar to Forever Nuts, which I also love, but is different enough to warrant a full tin purchase on the second day it is released, haha. Unless I am wowed by one of the new blends, this one remains my favourite winter tea.

I was excited to try this one, as it presented a departure from my normal fruit-based oolongs. And it smelled amazing, and the first few sips tased really good. But then the flavour got really strong and really weird and I struggled to finish it. Maybe it was steeped for too long and/or had too many leaves, but this flavour sadly left a bad taste in my mouth.

This one reminded me of a Darjeeling (not surprisingly), which is a good thing since I love that blend… I had this to go with a splash of milk. Mmmm, divine. Another reminder that a really good basic black tea is definitely a comfort thing for me.

I’d only had this in the store as a sample, and now that I’ve brewed this at home… Yeah, it’s still not my favourite black tea. If it was around, I’d drink it, but I probably won’t actively search this one out again. Something with the spice flavouring felt a little off to me, so I added some milk to make it a little more tolerable. But yeah, there are other flavoured black teas I will go to before this one. Alas.

The classic of all black teas and I had never tried the DT version before now. Imagine that! This is definitely a comfot tea because it is so familiar, and I love that. In my opinion it definitely does taste better than the pre-packaged/already in a bag varieties. Or maybe I’ve just become a tea snob this past year, haha.

Another stellar recommendation by an employee at my DT store. I wanted a straight black tea, and this was what I came away with. I added a splash of milk (as I generally do with any and all straight black teas) and it tasted so good. I was a little sad to see my cup come to an end, haha.
