Had this to go today… It’s weird, because I tried some tea last week from the Dominican: pure cocoa husks. And it was delicious with some milk (I enjoy the slightly bitter taste of dark chocolate, so no sugar for me). When this tea was introduced, I knew I had to try it! It’s good – one of the few chocolate-based teas I don’t actually find too sweet. I didn’t really get any blueberry taste with this, but that’s not what I was going for, so it’s not a big miss for me!

I was a little vary of this one due to the lavender (I’m not a huge fan of floral teas), but I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by the taste (and I do love the fact that it’s organic)! I got a strong strawberry flavour (yay) out of my cup, and the lavender wasn’t as bad as I thought it’d be. I had this hot (it still feels like winter out, le sigh), and it is definitely a relaxing-type tea. I’d love to try it iced, see if I like it as much. Out of the three samples I picked up yesterday (this, Spa Day and Vanilla Rose), I think this is my favourite. I

Finally, a new tea for me to try! :) Quickly grabbed 10g of this to go this afternoon, and made a mug when I got home. A little too heavy on the coconut for me (though that might have been the amount of coconut pieces in my particular cup, I could certainly try and make it without), but the mango flavour does shine through. I do enjoy a good mango tea, and since this is cheaper than Mango Madness, I may be picking up more of this one in the future.

This is a nice change from the normal black tea, though it is fairly generic. I do enjoy the tropical flavour, though not as strong as I would like it to be.

Heading to Alice’s is now a staple of any visit of mine to NYC. Love, love this place and their tea. Clearly, I had to try their main blend!

FABULOUS straight, black tea. I tried this while in NYC last week, and if it hadn’t been so expensive to buy in a tin, I would have taken some home with me. Again, this only cemented my love for teas from the Darjeeling area.

There are few fruity black tea blends that I truly like, those this is one of them! I love me some passionfruit, which is what initially attracted me to this blend. The taste is maybe a little too subtle to get a higher rating, but I will be sad when my stash of this runs out.

I like this one, I have to say, even if it does remind me a little of orange drink mix. I do enjoy a good, orange-flavoured tea, and this certianly fits the bill – along with the peach and apricot flavours I think I can also pick out. That said, there are other orange teas I like better and that are less expensive, so while I’m glad I tried this one, I won’t be in a rush to get a lot more.

I’m upping my rating on this one because I tried it iced and I liked it much better! Still not my favourite iced flavour (I’m finding lately that I like my black tea blends better hot), but I didn’t find any weird taste like I did before. The candy strawberry flavour works better as an iced tea, I think, so if I ever drink this again in the future, it will definitely be iced.

I wanted to like this one so much more, because I love black tea and I love strawberry, but I found this one to be almost sickly sweet (maybe I shouldn’t’ve added milk?) Sigh. It’s not terrible, but it definitely tastes like candy, and I don’t like my berry teas to wander over into dessert tea category (my liking for sweet, dessert teas has gone significantly downhill). This smells good (though I can smell the artificialness, which surprised me – I guess my nose is becoming in tune to that sort of thing?), and I’m brewing a pot to try iced with the leaves I’ve got left from my sample. Sadly, I don’t think I’ll be getting this one again unless someone gives it to me for free, or something.
